Penn College’s men’s cross-country team placed fourth at the 2026 United East championship, and three Wildcats earned all-conference recognition, according to a Nov. 2 announcement from Penn College Athletics in Williamsport. The announcement said the honors followed the championship races held Saturday, Oct. 31.
According to Penn College Athletics, Chase Ebeling placed 20th and Holden Furey finished 24th, earning third-team honors. Ebeling recorded a time of 28:08.1, the college said, and the recognition was his third postseason honor.
Furey finished in 28:48.4, according to the announcement, and became one of two men in Penn College history to earn all-conference recognition four times. The college said Furey previously earned third-team honors in 2023 and 2025 and second-team honors in 2024.
The announcement said the Wildcats’ remaining all-conference honoree placed 11th with a season-best time of 27:21.7 and earned second-team recognition. Penn College Athletics did not include further event-location or spectator information in the announcement.
