Penn College women’s soccer beat Farmingdale State College 5-0 in a non-conference match Oct. 14 at UPMC Field in Williamsport, according to an announcement from Farmingdale State College Athletics. The announcement described the match as taking place Wednesday afternoon.
Penn College scored three times in the first half and twice in the final 15 minutes, according to the announcement. Farmingdale State finished with nine shots, three on goal and two saves; Penn College also had nine shots, with seven on goal and three saves, the announcement said.
Farmingdale State is scheduled to return to Skyline Conference play Sunday, Oct. 18, against Yeshiva University at Macron Stadium in Teaneck, New Jersey, with kickoff set for 7 p.m., according to the announcement.
